We keep having people ask us if Ethan is talking much. The answer is yes, quite a bit. Lots of words, and each day he seems to add one or two more. He still prefers not to use the words he knows perfectly well, especially in directing mom and dad around--grunts and points work just fine on us, and we follow his orders like robots. He's no dummy. Why use words when primal noise-commands work just fine? So, he continues to learn and then file it all away for use on some other day. But, he's also using some sentences. His first three sentences, in order:
1. I want that one.
2. Bo sit down.
3. I want that book.
NB that 2 of the first 3 sentences begin the same way--I think we have a good capitalist on our hands.
